LECTURE HALL

Prime group of institution has ample number of lecture halls. All the lecture halls are airy and spacious, well equipped with modern teaching aids like overhead projector, LCD multimedia aids, etc. Students regularly conduct various formal & informal activities in the lecture halls to make it the most convenient joint. Seats are designed moderately for boys and girls.

APPLIED PHYSICS LAB

Prime group of institution has modern instruments and equipments for experiments.

Physics provides an in-depth knowledge of fundamental laws and their applications in various systems. It also helps to predict and explain natural phenomena. It has a laboratory housing many experimental setups such as Hall’s experiment, energy band gap, magnetic field variation, viscosity of liquids, etc. It also has a dark room for optics experiments such as spectrometer, polarimeter, fresnel biprism, Newton’s ring, nodal slide assembly, etc.

APPLIED CHEMISTRY LAB

Chemistry plays an important role in all disciplines of Engineering. So utmost care has been excercised in its teaching. Chemistry Lab is well equipped with latest instruments such as digital pH meter, polarimeter, distiled water plant, magnetic stirrer, electric oven, muffle furnace, lass ware, chemicals, organic and inorganic compounds to understand the chemical behavior of substances.

ELECTRICAL LAB

The Institute is having well-furnished Laboratory accompanied with fresh air and modern teaching techniques and tools to facilitate teaching and learning process in a conductive manner – an excellent support for discussions, presentations for analysis of theoretical talent of technocrats.

Prime group of institution has large electrical lab with modern equipments and instruments. Electrical Engineering play an important role in all the branches of Engineering and Science. It deals with electrical transducers, electronic instrumentation, signal conditioning. Microprocessors, microcontrollers, PC based instrumentation system, power electronics & control systems, telemetry, data transmission etc.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING LAB

Prime group of institution has Mechanical Engineering Lab Separately. Mechanical Engineering, an evergreen branch of engineering, is one of the well equipped lab of the college. It deals with design, structural, architectural, installation, operation, trouble shooting and maintenance of different types of machines and systems of industries like automobile, refrigeration, air conditioning, measurement etc.

Mechanics of engineering lab is well equipped to meet the requirement of the practical experiments prescribed by Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad.The lab is equipped with the well-designed models of boilers, air conditioning systems,mounting and accessories of IC engines, two strokes and four strokes, pumps,braking systems, turbines and much more.

PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION LAB

The communication skill is absolutely essential for the career of any student. So we have established a Communication Lab with advanced software to improve their communication skills and language.

COMPUTER LAB

At present the laboratory has 24 mbps internet facility to meet the requirement of the faculty and students. Students can search their study and project work related topics and download them. Internet Facility is also available at college and hostel in the form of Wi-Fi during college hours and even after college hours.

Central Computing laboratory is equipped with personal computers (core i3, 2 GB DDR3 RAM and 1 TB Harddisk) , Printers and Multimedia kits. Practical based on subjects like Programming Languages, Object Oriented Programming, Data and Information Security can be carried out in this laboratory.

Computer is an Integral part of our life as everyone has to deal with it in day to day working. Therefore, students are trained not only to be computer proficient but to be computer savvy.

Prime group of institution has well equipped centralized Computer Centre. Computer centre is fully airconditioned, Centre equipped with 24 mbps broadband internet, 250 computers with TFT monitors, online printers, online UPS, computer peripherals and advanced level softwares Oracle,Adobe flash, Corel Draw, Photoshop, Microsoft visual studio, WAMP server, SQL server, C, C++, Borland, Microsoft MSDN, case tools multimedia software suit, visual FoxPro etc. New softwares are continuously being procured to update the design and computational capabilities.

LIBRARY

Libraries are the backbone of any civilized society and heart of any academic Institution. Libraries therefore should be well equipped with books, journals and magazines. The library at Prime group of institution has ample number of books, with national and international journals and magazines, encoded with computerized system.It has very large and calm reading room for the students.

It is growing steady in the means of its resources, facilities and services. The library of Prime group of institution, is air-conditioned, modern and digital having in-house developed Library Management Software. It has collection of almost all the types of documents available in various Medias, in the field of Technology and Management.

The library of Prime group of institution, at present has total collection of around 36,822 books with approx. 5,740 numbers of titles. Apart from this, there is also a significant collection of 150 journals (national and international). More than 300 online journals are also available for students. Magazines and non-print materials include 300 CDs, etc. Books are basically organized by the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme, and cataloguing is based on AACR II, We have also membership of DELNET which covers online libraries of the world more than 2100 libraries including 22 foreign libraries facilitating 24/7 online access

WORKSHOP

As then saying, the institute is equipped with the heaven of engineering with the state-of-art facilities that impart practical knowledge on machining, fitting, carpentry, welding, smithy, tin smithy, plumbing and foundry. It is equipped with all gear lathes, conventional lathes as well as wood working lathes. Machine shop is also equipped with Shaper, surface grinding and radial drilling machine, universal milling machines, EDM, CNC Turning center etc. A hand on practice is given to the students on all these machines. The airy, well-lit and well-ventilated workshop provides a perfect atmosphere for job work.

CAFETERIA

Prime Group of Institution makes sure that it never compromises on hygiene standards. Institute’s Cafeteria is located in the spacious and airy campus. A variety of food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the institute at highly subsidized rates. It serves delicious and hygienic food. It is open for everyone who comes to visit campus and is operational during college working hours. Adequate seating facilities are provided to accommodate students and staff even during peak time. The most happening place of any college is not any exception here also. Always bubbling with students, the Canteen is the most favourite place of the student’s together, hangout and have fun with friends with their silly gossips!!!

PLAYGROUND

The Prime Group of Institutions also provides sports facilities at all campuses for the students. These facilities include grounds to play Cricket, Football, Volleyball and Basketball. The campus also offers an Indoor Stadium with state-of-the-art facility and which has indoor courts for Basket Ball, Volleyball court and Badminton. The Campus also features a well-equipped Gymnasium as well as recreational facilities where students can enjoy a host of indoor games including Table Tennis.

Students are encouraged to participate in the Inter-Collegiate Tournaments.

BOOK BANK

Institute provides Department wise Book Bank facility to help the needy meritorious students. The Book Bank has a separate collection of books other than the library books. Book Bank is providing all subject books (semester wise) to the student for the completion of semester in the beginning of each academic session, apart from the normal facility of lending 2 books from Central Library.

Rules for Book Bank:

A student may get a maximum of six books from the Book Bank at a time.

Books will be issued at beginning of each semester as per the schedule notified for the purpose.

Books will be issued for whole semester. Student will be required to deposit the books after the completion of the exam as per the schedule notified.

A fine will be levied if book will not be returned in 15 days schedule.

Students will be responsible for any damage caused for the books. Students are advised to verify the physical condition of the books at time of its lending.

If a book is lost the student will be required to pay the current market price of the book.

Books will be issued on first come first served basis.

HOSTEL AND MESS

To avoid the inconvenience caused to the students in daily travelling to and from the college, particularly to those residing at far-away places from the college, the Management has built separate hostel for boys and girls in the campus. Each student is provided separate room, cupboard, study desk and bed. They are also provided breakfast, lunch and dinner from college mess.

VEHICLE PARKING

Only members of staff who have been issued with parking permits may park their cars/motor vehicles on the Trumping ton Street Site during the working day (Monday to Saturday 9:30 AM – 3:45 AM). There is no provision during working hours for parking by family members, or by anyone who does not have business in the Department. Permits are available only to assistant, academic and academic-related staff (see below under ‘Car parking applications’); unfortunately, the Department is not able to provide permission to park within working hours to undergraduate and Diploma level students.

The Facilities Manager, as part of his duties, is responsible to the discipline committee for overseeing parking, but the working of the system is largely dependent on goodwill and lack of selfishness among users. Staffs who have been issued with a permit may park in any free space on site.

TRANSPORTATION FACILITY

For the security and added comfort, Prime Group of Institutions provides the buses for the transportation of college students. The routes and pickup points are clearly laid out, and you are requested to follow the timings set for the pickup.

For the convenience of students and college staff commuting from different cities like Surat, Navsari etc. the college provides bus facilities through third party covering various routes. The buses are as per the students comfort, safety and with flexible and competitive rates. Brand New buses are arranged by the Institution. The buses are operated in various covering almost all areas across Surat and Navsari.

DRAWING HALL

Prime group of institution provides a spacious and airy Drawing Hall with latest drawing tables and apparatus to the students where they can draw their projects in calm and peaceful atmosphere.
